Show Notes

Dr. Leo Venus is passionate about inspiring people to take charge of their own health and happiness through nutrition and other lifestyle factors. He believes strongly in following unbiased science and builds his recommendations on the hierarchy of evidence, something he explains during this episode. Throughout his medical training he realized that patient lifestyle is mostly ignored despite it being the root cause of the vast majority of chronic diseases that burden society today. For him, it’s not about the quick fix, but more about finding a long-term solution that will lead to a life of health and vitality.

In this episode we cover:

  • His childhood and experience growing up in several different countries
  • Becoming plant-based
  • Why he chose medicine and his experience in medical school
  • The hierarchy of evidence
  • His experience with social media
  • Thoughts on ex-vegans
  • His message for the vegan community
  • Tips for reaching your fitness goals as a vegan
